Information and Logistics
San Diego State University is located just off Interstate 8, at College Avenue. We are twenty minutes from the San Diego International Airport.

Registration
We are asking presenters and participants to pay a moderate registration fee. General attendance to the conference is free.
To pay, please follow this link. (If you have issues with the payment system, please try and different browser) -
- presenters with institutional support, $300*
- presenters without institutional support, $100*
- student presenters, no fee.
Registration fees defrey conference costs that we were not able to completely cover through fundraising.
* If your institution provides inadequate support, or if you have no institutional
support and are unable to pay the $100 in full, we are able to provide a sliding scale
fee. Email us for details.
Hotels
While we have not reserved rooms at any hotel, we recommend that you stay in Mission Valley or Old Town areas. These areas are close to the I8 freeway and some to the trolley line leading to SDSU.
Parking
Unfortunately, we are unable to cover the cost of parking; however, there is very convenient parking near conference location. Visitor parking for each day can be purchased through the paybyphone app. Instructions are on signs at the lot. For more information, visit the SDSU Parking and Transportation site.
We recommend parking in Lots 3 or 4 (View maps: PK 3 and PK 4).
There is also a trolley stop on campus and ride sharing drop off locations.
Surf and Skate Sessions
We are hosting a paddle out and a skate session. See the Schedule of Events for times.
Books Selling/Swapping
We will have a table setup for which you can sell your books if you’d like.
